The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to attractions such as Sherwood Forest. the chalet we stayed in was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved being able to see and interact with the animals on the farm, especially for our daughter. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing lots of information about the local area and things to do.
One suggestion for improvement would be to have an information area with leaflets and maps to plan their activities in the local area. Another aspect that could be enhanced is the availability of horse riding lessons, as we would have loved to take part in that activity during our stay.

The log cabin was massive! So much space for me and my family. And the view was absolutely stunning. We could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Plus, the flexibility of being able to check out at 12.30 was a bonus. Another great thing was that we could have breakfast delivered to our cabin. It made our stay even more convenient.
The road outside the hotel was quite noisy at night. It disturbed our sleep a little bit.

The location of this place was amazing! It was so peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views all around. The cabins were clean and well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, the free bottle of prosecco that we received to celebrate our special occasion was a lovely touch.
That the Wi-Fi didn't work very well during our stay. It wasn't a major issue for us, but it would have been nice to have a reliable internet connection.

The surrounding countryside was gorgeous, and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. It was also great to have local amenities just a short drive away. We even took a day trip to the nearby centerparcs spa, a perfect addition to our weekend getaway. it was an excellent stay.
There wasn't anything to complain about.

The location of the accommodation was perfect for our New Year getaway. We were conveniently close to local pubs and shops, and there was even a farm shop within walking distance. the spacious lounge area was a definite highlight, and the kitchen and bathroom were well-maintained. Another advantage was the generous space between the cabins, which provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
That the bedrooms were smaller than expected, as they resembled typical mobile home bedrooms. the mattresses, particularly in the main bedroom, were uncomfortable and left us with back pain each morning.

The lodge was fantastic, clean, and homely. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were thoughtful, including cleaning items and tea and coffee. The games room and fully equipped kitchen were impressive, and the bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. The shower was great and the bedding was crisp and comfortable.
Nothing all good.

The cabin was modern and well-stocked, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The spaciousness of the property was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to relax and unwind. The location was key, with beautiful views and lovely walks right on our doorstep. Meeting the pet animals, especially Rusty & Dusty, was a highlight for our children, and the free pony pampering session added a special touch. The games room and outdoor play area provided additional entertainment options, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Although the cabin was well-equipped, we did notice that the floor was quite dirty, which made us keep our shoes on indoors. However, this was a minor issue as we spent most of our time exploring the surrounding area and enjoying the facilities of the property.

The Sherwood Lodge provided ample space with a fabulous shower and kitchen. the underfloor heating added to the relaxing atmosphere. the lodge itself was in its own secluded area, surrounded by lovely woods and fields with horses and sheep. It was a joy to watch them while enjoying a cup of tea in the morning or a beer in the evening. the games room and laundry facilities were also convenient, and the safe and secure kids play area was a bonus. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful lit walks around the farm, as well as the places to sit and watch the stars. a fantastic 4 nights away in this excellent accommodation. Cons: Not obvious to find. 📍.
